Construction of a 200-room hotel in Abidjan, Côte d’ Ivoire, is in the initial stages of procedure by Marriott International. Located near the central business district of Abidjan, this development will be part of a mixed-use project that will include a conference centre, offices, businesses, and a national library.

ASX-listed Resolute Mining has been awarded two highly prospective large-scale exploration concessions by the Egyptian Mineral Resource Authority for the Bokari and Um Samra exploration concessions.
This came in the first round of the government’ s international tender process for gold concessions in the Sinai and Eastern Desert. The Um Samra block is 819km ² and is situated approximately 70km north-west of Centamin’ s Sukari Gold Mine. Collectively, the Bokari and Um Samra exploration concessions represent approximately 2 400km ² of the high-potential Arabian-Nubian Shield. Resolute will now work with the local authorities to complete the necessary procedures of the tender process, which will include negotiations with the Egyptian local authorities in formal concession agreements to finalise detailed conditions for the operation of the concessions. On conclusion of these negotiations, the operating conditions will be adopted as Egyptian law. This process is expected to take approximately six months to complete.
