Soon to rise in Century City, a new commercial development by the Rabie
Property Group is set to turn heads with its unique cantilevered design.

The build
Aurecon was appointed as the
structural and civil engineers for the
Sable Park project. Braam Basson,
associate: Contract Management at
Aurecon, describes their involvement:
“Basically, our scope of work was
eveloped by the Rabie Property
Group at a cost of R460-
million, Sable Park is a new
commercial development comprising
16 300m 2 of premium-grade offices,
on a key gateway site to the south of
Century City’s Bridgeways Precinct.
When complete, the development
will comprise two four-storey
buildings of 8 000m 2 and 8 300m 2 ,

the services outside of the building,
namely sewage, water, and stormwater.
We were tasked with connecting the
services to existing internal municipal
services. This included subsoil
drainage, stormwater perimeter
drainage and obviously, outflows
from the building, such as sewage and
stormwater, and also connecting the
water to the building.”
