Classified according to the main theme or characteristic:

Gore, where blood are predominates, violent scenes of mutilation, bloody murder, etc., that can arise in any situation that poses the film. Its extreme shape is coated with Ultra gore. Inside the Gore we find the films of Torture, which maintains the Gore characteristics but in a specific situation where there is at least one torturer and one tortured deprived of his freedom.

Horror comedy, where terror and violence mix with humor and sometimes ridicule, this type of horror film tries to give a little humor to the most violent events that may occur throughout the film.
