Place the flat part of another veiner on top of the leaf, and press down hard( depending on the material of the veiner you may wish to grease the flat side with Crisco beforehand). You want to apply a decent amount of pressure here so that all the ridges are deeply embedded into the leaf.
Carefully remove the top veiner, and ease the leaf out from the bottom piece. It is important to be gentle at this stage as the veiner may have made some parts of the leaf thin. Once released, the leaf should look like below.
If necessary, slightly re-pinch the bottom of the leaf to tidy up.
Place the leaf on the egg crate foam to dry.
Repeat for remainingleaves.
