Buttercrunch

Combine butter,
sugar, water,
and salt in a pot.
Bring to the boil
over a moderate
heat. While
boiling stir
constantly.
Ingredients
450g butter
450ml sugar
100ml water
1teaspoon salt
vanilla flavouring
chocolate for coating

Quicky before
it cools down
press a heart
shaped cutter
onto the spread
mixture.

Remove from
the heat when
it reaches 130c.
Add vanilla
essence and
stir into mixture.

Spread the
mixture quickly
onto a silicone
baking mat
before it cools
and sets.
Break the
excess pieces
away leaving
the hearts on
their own.

Dip into melted
chocolate and
then sprinkle
with coloured
sugar.
