10 THE CHARBONNEAU VILLAGER January 2020 Charbonneau Tennis Club By STEVE HALL Tennis club recognizes Kathi Gray I would like to take this opportu- nity to reflect on all the positive things that are happening at the club and provide HALL recognition to the hard work and teamwork of our board, club members and staff. A great deal has been accomplished during the past year and this pro- vides evidence that our updated plans, processes and organization structure are working effectively. Just look around and you can see evi- dence of it in the general appearance of the club, our positive financial status, the success of our USTA teams, the un- precedented list of individuals on our wait list, the abundance of volunteers assisting with projects and the lack of any real issues. We also completed a number of projects in a timely manner including the hiring of a high-profile tennis pro Bruce Reed and the addition of pickleball to our product line. Special recognition is provided to Kathi Gray who not only serves as the CTC president but is an active member of the planning, social and mainte- nance committees. Not only does Kathi organize and facilitate the board meet- ings, she is a tireless worker assisting COURTESY PHOTO The Charbonneau Tennis Club Board. the various groups in carrying out their responsibilities — such as getting down on her hands and knees and lay- ing pickleball lines.
