Support Group Meet new people at the
Community Center
Nutrition Program
Are you living with or
caring for someone who has
dementia? Are you looking
for answers regarding how
best to care for them and for
yourself? Does the future
feel uncertain, not knowing
what it will take to care for
your loved one (and your-
self), physically, medically,
emotionally, and financial-
ly? Please join Scott Lich-
tenstein, dementia specialist
and group facilitator for
lively discussions on de-
mentia care information and
resources, caregiver train-
ing and more. The group
meets on the first Monday
of each month from The Parks and Recreation
Department is proud to of-
fer a weekday lunch pro-
gram at the Wilsonville
Community Center. Lunch
is served Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday and Friday at
noon. The nutrition pro-
gram is a great way to grab
a nutritious, great tasting
meal while meeting new
people. Don’t have trans-
portation? Not a problem!

vice. Recommended dona-
tions are $3.50 for those 60
and over or $4.25 for those

Diabetes Support Group
When you, someone you
love, or a family member
has been diagnosed with
any form of diabetes, it can
be overwhelming. Attend-
ing a diabetes support group
is a proactive way to find
support and learn tools that
can be used as part of an in-
tegrated approach to diabe-
tes management. Please

Beginning Tai Chi Chih
Tai Chi Chih is an evi-
dence-based mindfulness
practice: a non-martial form
consisting of 19 flowing
movements and a closing
pose. The movements are
designed to balance and cir-
culate our chi; unifying
body, mind and spirit. These
simple movements can be
done standing or sitting and
require no special clothing.
Tai Chi Chih reduces stress
while increasing energy,
balance and focus. This six-
session course on Wednes-
days, March 4 through April
8 from 10:55-11:55 a.m. at the
Wilsonville Community
Center. Cost for the course
is $40. Please pre-register.
