and work is different than that of any
of us.”
Canby High School serves more
than 600 students in art education
classes, says teacher Jennifer Dorsey.
With past donations from the Char-
bonneau Art Association, the Canby
art program has funded field trips and
purchased equipment that is not pos-
sible with their ordinary funding.
Dorsey also reports: “Recently a
portion of the donation has gone into
our CHS Visual Arts Scholarship for a
graduating CHS student who is major-
ing in Visual Art in college.
“None of these activities and large
equipment purchases would be possi-
ble without the donations over the
years from the Charbonneau Arts As-
sociation.”
