Charbonneau women
swing into summer
With summer right around the
corner, Charbonneau’s Single
Women’s Group — known as Solo
Sisters — is gearing up for some good
times. Actually the fun started in
April when many members attended a
wig party hosted by Deanna Morgan
and Alice Swartz in the French Prairie
Clubhouse. Some of the ladies brought
their own wigs, then the others
enjoyed trying them on while enjoying
a little refreshment. Following the wig
party, the fun continued at an
impromptu happy hour at Oswego
Grill.
Our spring happy hours ended up
being held in Bridgeport. In April we
went to PF Chang’s, where it is hard
to resist their lettuce wraps. Our

Lissa Willis, one of our members

offered to take members into
Portland on “Lunch Safaris,” to
introduce them to some of the city’s
renowned eateries. In May, Willis is
taking a group of Solo Sisters to
Bread and Ink Café where they will
enjoy lunch and perhaps a walk
