The Invitational Tournament

Meyers, Steve Bennett and many others,
have started the planning and organizing
for this year’s event. The player’s guide
and registration forms are on the website
(Golf menu area) or printed in the Club
Room of the Pro Shop. This is the biggest
event of the year and it is expertly staffed
by CWGA volunteers.
Major Golf Events and Results
■ April 11, Mobile Device
Workshop This was the second time
this workshop was hosted for Men’s
Club members. About 10 members
brought their mobile phones, pads
and laptops to an hour-long session to
learn how to use their devices to
access all the information on the
Men’s Club website.
■ May 4, Guest Day Two-Man
Team Event
■ Members could team up with a
guest player, or another member, to
play in this event that used Stableford
Scoring. First three places were Dave
Pump and Jerry Marlow, Dave
Sanville and Brian Sanville, Bill
Johnson and Mike Reynolds.
■ May 8, Men’s Night Out, Golf
and Dinner.
■ This was a great day for golf and
companionship during a scramble
team event, followed by dinner. The
winning team was Bill Shevlin, Jim
Bartlett, Ken Zinsli and Ron Prewett.
