Watercolor Class in Charbonneau
Yes, watercolor will be continuing! We had so much fun last session, we thought we’ d try it again. Class will be held in the Clubhouse Fireplace Room on Wednesdays, beginning April 4 at 10 am.
Elaine Luneke, a Charbonneau resident who has taught art classes in Lake Oswego, West Linn and Wilsonville, is offering a continuation of her watercolor classes. Each class is unique.
“ I don’ t go by a script,” said Elaine.“ Each class is tailored to the individual’ s experience, the season and what we’ re all interested in!”
Whether you are a true beginner or have worked with watercolors in the past, this class will work for you.
The cost for this six-week course is $ 60, and checks should be made payable to Elaine Luneke. New students should contact Elaine to discuss materials with an eye toward making use of paints, brushes and paper that you might already have.
Please register in the Clubhouse Office.
Class will explore step-by-step watercolor techniques with plenty of demonstrations. Come join the fun!
Travel Presentation
Join us on April 12 at 1 pm in the Clubhouse for a special travel presentation to learn more about the group vacation being offered in December,“ Magical Christmas Markets.” Please RSVP to Kim @ charbonneaucountryclub. com or call the Office at 503-694-2300.
Charbonneau Paint and Pour
Come to the Clubhouse on Friday, April 13 for this new, fun event. Invite a friend or two, bring your beverage of choice and enjoy a watercolor class put on by instructor and artist Elaine Luneke.
Meet in the Fireplace Room at 6 pm for this two-hour class where you will work on a watercolor project. The cost is $ 20 and Elaine will bring all the supplies you will need. Easy and Fun! Register in the Country Club Office. Everyone is an artist!
Comedy Dinner Show Featuring Randy Riggle The Charbonneau Country Club( CCC) is featuring an entertaining stand-up comedy show on April 24, performed by Randy Riggle, and we are looking forward to it!
Randy has been a seasoned veteran of the comedy scene since 1982 as a nationally-touring comedian. His combination of innovative style, quick wit and brilliant impressions has made Randy popular with all types of audiences for many years. To date, he has performed in 47 states.
He has written for many comedians, including Jay Leno and Joan Rivers, and has opened for such acts as Dennis Miller, Kenny Chesney, Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen Degeneres and Weird Al Yankovic. This talented comedian has appeared nationally on all three major networks. Randy has also performed at some of the country ' s top comedy clubs, including the IMPROV. Most recently, he has become a regular on the strip in Las Vegas.
Purchase your tickets in the Office. Tickets are $ 45 and include a delicious, catered dinner. You are welcome to bring your beverage of choice. Doors open at 5:30 pm, dinner will be served at 6 pm and the show begins at 7 pm.

Charbonneau Directory Changes
Spring is here, and it is time for the CCC Office staff to update the Charbonneau Resident’ s Directory. This booklet is not just a resident directory. It also contains helpful information about Charbonneau businesses, homeowner associations, architectural control policies and much more.
For those who are already listed, please check to make sure the information in the green-colored 2017 Directory is current. Directory information includes resident phone numbers and it is possible that this information may have changed. The deadline for making changes is May 16- the date of Charbonneau Country Club’ s annual meeting.
If you have recently moved to Charbonneau, be sure to contact the Office staff at 503-694-2300 or Kim @ CharbonneauCountry- Club. com and let them know how you would like to be listed in The Directory. The Directory will be

Time to Register for the“ Walk to Remember” Charbonneau’ s Sixth Annual Walk to End Alzheimer’ s will take place on Sunday, May 20 at 11 am. Participants will enjoy a lovely walk around Charbonneau followed by a free barbecue lunch and entertainment at SpringRidge Court. Please pre-register so we know how many guests we will be serving. This event begins and ends at SpringRidge Court.
Several gift baskets are donated by local businesses and will be raffled off after lunch. This event is a wonderful way to show your support for friends and family who have been diagnosed or are caregivers of someone with Alzheimer’ s. Registration forms are available at the CCC Clubhouse and SpringRidge Court.
FREE Document Shredding & Drug Disposal Day Set for June 2
Windermere Real Estate and CCC are teaming up to help you with some spring cleaning. A shredding truck will be stationed behind the Windermere building for FREE, on-site shredding of documents on June 2 from 10 am to 1 pm. For more information, contact the CCC Office or Windermere. Canned food donations accepted to support our local food bank.
In addition, the CCC Disaster Preparedness Committee has arranged a drug disposal event. There will be more information about this event in the May Villager.
