West Stand - Deepdale - Preston North End
The West Stand at Preston North End ’ s Deepdale ground was built in 1906 . It was formed of an upper seating deck with a standing paddock in front . The barrel roof was supported by a multitude of pillars , making viewing difficult . In May 1995 it became the first of the old stands to be swept away as Deepdale began transformation into a modern venue . The demolition of further Deepdale stands feature later in this book .
