The 7/8 girls basketball teams
have been busy this winter. The White
team has won every game so far,
while the Red team is still winless.
At practice, we end up running a
lot and we work our plays so that players don‘t give our coach a ―deer in the
headlights‖ look when we are trying to
run a play. Our coach makes sure that
we stay in shape, so that we don‘t
have to worry about being tired during
games.
Our girls teams have had good
turnouts at games this year, which we
appreciate. I hope that everyone
comes to both the 7/8 and 5/6 girls
games when they play at home.

7/8 Boys Update
St. J Rec Youth Lacrosse
Registration is now available for
the St. Johnsbury Recreation youth
lacrosse program, for players in
grades 4-8. More information is available at www.stjrec.com.
The 7/8 boys White team currently
has a record of 2-5, while the Red
team is 3-8. Our teams have beaten
Oxbow, Barnet, Lisbon, Waterford,
Good Shepherd and Danville.
We are doing well in the first half,
but aren‘t able to finish in the second
half.
As far as players go, we have a
great group of guys who respect each
other and act as a team. Our 8th graders are doing a great job of leading
the program, and our 7th graders are
doing great and adding a new dynamic to the team.
We are all looking forward to the
rest of the season.
