Grace Hibshman (Spring 2014) received a Provost’s Graduate Excellence Fellowship and is studying to get her PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology at UT Austin.
Frances Barham (Fall 2018) went on a Salmon River Middle Fork trip this June and was pleasantly surprised to have Tessa Sever (Teaching Fellow Fall 2019) as her guide.
Fall 2018 alumni, Liam Carvajal and Jonah Bussgang, have spent their summer working at Cascade Raft along the Payette River in Idaho. They recently made the short drive north to visit campus.
Metta Bracht-Bedell (Spring 2015) continues to hone her whitewater skills as a summer guide for Montana Whitewater based out of Bozeman, Montana.
Lily Fontenot (Spring 2014, left) is headed into her second year of law school at the University of Miami. Lily hopes to pursue a career in sports law.
Many alumni are carving out their own educational opportunities this fall. Fall 2018 alumni Charlotte Soule, Rachel Forehand, and Will Norry are deferring their studies for the time being and seeking out Gap Year programs and adventures all across the country.
