AFFINITY IN ACTION Individuals and organizations dedicated to supporting Scott & White LIGHTING THE WAY Children’s Miracle Network Donors Tina Boren, Children’s Miracle Network coordinator; Tony Frankenberger, vice president of merchandising; Mike Youngblood, president, McLane Grocery Distribution; and Charolette Williams, administrative assistant. Mr. Frankenberger and Ms. Williams coordinate the McLane Charity Golf Classic that in part benefits Scott & White, as well as a skeet shoot. Last year these events raised $30,000 and $450,000 respectively for Scott & White. Also, Mr. Youngblood is a member of the national Children’s Miracle Network board of governors. cott & White Healthcare is affiliated with the Children’s Miracle Network, an international organization that raises money for children’s hospitals. Scott & White has been a partner with Children’s Miracle Network since 1986. We are grateful for the generous support from many companies that support Children’s Miracle Network, and that believe in the amazing work done at Scott & White. Here we highlight a few bright stars whose commitment to children has been constant and their impact enormous. The efforts of 38 distribution centers across the United States have raised more than $81 million nationwide for children’s hospitals. Each division has the autonomy to develop and plan fundraisers for its local children’s hospitals, and they get creative! Raffles, car washes, ice cream sales, bake sales, car shows, golf tournaments, skeet shoots, and even a country music concert have been held. That’s just a
