A NEW ERA Pioneering research at the new Institute for Regenerative Medicine will elevate Scott & White Healthcare’s stature in the worldwide medical community, and benefit patients everywhere The new world-class Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine Institute for Regenerative Medicine (IRM) at the Scott & White West Campus in Temple, TX is a collaboration among internationally renowned medical researchers; the state of Texas; and key regulatory and funding agencies such as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). 8 THE CATALYST Spring 09 he $54 million institute is expected to advance basic science through adult stem cell research.
