It’s a highly coveted award, and one
that the entire stroke team had worked
hard for. “We’re very proud to be on the
honor roll for quality achievement in
stroke care,” says Jennifer Rasmussen,
MD, medical director of Scott &
White Memorial Hospital’s nationally
recognized stroke center. “As a certified
stroke center in Texas, we are dedicated
to improving the quality of stroke care
and improving clinical excellence using
nationally respected clinical guidelines.
There are a number of quality metrics
that hospitals must meet, and we
achieved the highest level there is.”
