of its alumni association. He is a past
president of the Dallas–Fort Worth
Hospital Council, has been a nominee
for the Young Healthcare Executive of
the Year Award, and has been honored
on the Dallas Business Journal’s
“40 under 40” list. He is on the
board of examiners for the Malcolm
Baldrige National Quality Award, a
prize awarded by the US government
that honors organizations for
performance excellence.
Mr. Fox has served on the
boards of numerous local, state, and
national professional and nonprofit
organizations in the Dallas/Fort
Worth area, and has already begun
to serve on two boards in the
Austin/Round Rock region. He plans
to seek other similar opportunities
as well, because, he says, serving on
such boards is important outreach
for Baylor Scott & White: “We’re a
community asset. It’s very important to
give back to the community.” n
