Mr. Burdett lends his expertise in estate
and legacy planning to Scott & White.
There is nothing more gratifying than leaving a legacy that has positive
implications for people you may never know,” says Mr. Burdett. “The
visionary and commendable leadership of Drayton McLane Jr., has
inspired me personally to take on additional responsibilities in service
to this great healthcare system. I hope that my involvement on the
foundation board will help increase awareness of planned giving
options to ensure that the exceptional care Baylor Scott & White is
known for across Texas will to be available well in to the future for
all individuals and families who seek care at our facilities. My wife
and I plan on being a part of the Baylor Scott & White mission for the
remainder of our lives.

looks forward to extending his service
in the Brenham community as an
ambassador for Baylor Scott & White.
Mr. Kruse has long appreciated the
quality of care that Scott & White
has brought to the area with Scott &
White Hospital - Brenham and the
expanded services and new hospital in
nearby College Station. He commits
to promoting the importance of giving
locally to these worthy causes.
At some point, whether today or in the future, all of us will have
a health need arise, and I believe that by supporting Baylor Scott
& White services in our community now, we can help ensure that
our local providers are equipped with all that they need to provide
exceptional care in the future,” says Mr. Kruse. “Philanthropic support
of this healthcare system allows people to actually see their dollars
at work—enhancing the level of care, staff, technology, facilities, and
equipment that they or their families will likely need. Giving to Scott
& White brings the immediate gratification of seeing the impact of a
gift with your own eyes, and I believe that can be a powerful motivator.
