About a decade ago leadership put the wheels in motion to expand high-quality healthcare beyond Temple ’ s city limits , to the surrounding counties . Today , we ’ re privileged to be serving more patients from those areas .
Our trusted partners , donors , volunteers , staff , and friends have given us the stalwart support we need to achieve such a bold vision . The Empowering Excellence strategic initiative is a continuation of the work we ’ ve achieved so far , because our work isn ’ t done . As our community expands , more people need us and put their trust in Scott & White to deliver the best that medicine has to offer . A rapidly evolving field , healthcare requires that we keep pace with its innovation and transcend medicine ’ s limits to find solutions for patients that are effective and near their homes .
Our focus always has been and will always continue to be our patients . Like Tracy Sudduth , who inspires our caregivers to reach for better solutions , each patient has a family and a life to return to beyond our walls .
