The result of their efforts is the Circle of Giving - Scott & White, a new philanthropic group supporting the institution. Alicia Dunn, chief of staff to the president and CEO at Scott & White Healthcare, and her husband, Danny Dunn, real estate broker and Temple mayor pro tem, initiated the effort. They talked to their circle of friends in the community who agreed that a unique event that supported a lifelong habit of E OF G F G reassuring when the patterns that we’ve come to know in life are repeated. Scott & White team members and an enthusiastic group of women and men recognized the possibilities that could emerge from gathering people from across the spectrum of ages and generations to learn about Scott & White and the role philanthropy plays in its success. Now, unique activities and events are being held to help the group reach a new, formerly untouched audience with the It’s advocacy and support for Scott & White was needed. Mrs. Dunn enlisted the help of her colleague and friend Meredith Culp, stewardship and alumni manager at the Scott & White Healthcare Foundation, and Circle of Giving committee liaison. “We wanted to engage the under-40 demographic in the community and to create ways for them to become involved with and get excited about all of the transformational work being done at Scott & White,” says Mrs. Dunn.
