Scott and White, which began in a small, simple clinic building in 1897,” says Andrejs Avots-Avotins, MD, PhD, Scott & White Clinic Board of Directors chair. “When you see what Scott & White has evolved into, and witness firsthand the sacred trust our patients place in us, it is only fitting to acknowledge those who helped us reach this point.” Two physicians and one former board member make up the inaugural class.
