in the more than 100 years of Scott
& White’s history. It set in motion
successive initiatives that today are
helping more people, and have helped
put the Scott & White name among
the nation’s Top 100™ Health Systems
by Thomson Reuters.
It was an ambitious goal to raise
$100 million, and it put a bold plan
into action—one that meant an increase
in clinical expertise in more locations,
more research insights gleaned from
the laboratory bench to be translated
to patients’ bedsides, and an intense
focus on medical education efforts.
Vision Campaign
surpasses
$100 million goal
It also meant that new facilities were
necessary to house advanced services and
an increased number of physicians and
caregivers, many of whom were drawn
to Scott & White for the opportunity
to provide state-of-the-art medical care,
and the promise of the good things to
come from that.
New and existing sources of
philanthropic
support
brought
this dream to life. Donations from
individuals, companies, organizations,
and foundations, as well as planned gifts
from donor estates and trusts, made all
the difference. Countless individuals
and organizations gave from their
hearts, so that all of ours could be lifted.
