Aesthetically, the Wayne and Eileen
Hurd Regional Medical Center Scott
& White campus will merge the Scott
& White brand with similar tones and
textures in the Hill Country.
$1 million leadership gift
Horseshoe Bay residents Robert and
Barbara McFarland have made a most
generous donation to the Wayne and
Eileen Hurd Regional Medical Center
Scott & White. Mrs. McFarland was
successfully treated for cancer at Scott
& White 15 years ago, and knows
the toll it takes when patients have to
travel a great distance to receive highquality medical care. Their leadership
gift of $1 million kicks off a $23 million
campaign to fund the medical center
