Girls soccer

By Paulina Rodriguez

Unfortunately, the girls lost most of their best players, whom they were seniors last year. This is where each and one of them must step up as a great leader and pushes everyone as a team, in order to make this year the best. Hopefully, all those who’ve made fun of the team change their mind of how they look at East Central soccer girls because I’m sure they will make a change this year.

Soccer season is getting much closer than ever and for sure the Cardinal girls are very excited. The soccer girls are being trained to the hardest potential for a great season. Coach Yarbrough is the girls’ soccer coach, and she picked 3 captains for the team: Paulina, Ana and Ceci. The soccer girls are now getting lots of condition, and great preparation as in their shootings, passes, and formation for the upcoming season in February.

On early release Fridays, students will be released from their schools approximately two hours early. Release times vary by school, and can be found on the TPS website at www.tulsaschools.org/3_Parents/attendance.asp. Students will be served lunch prior to release and buses will run generally two hours earlier than their regularly-scheduled time. School start times remain unchanged.

Parents are responsible for their own child care arrangements. TPS after-school child care programs will still be available for those students who are already enrolled in them.

Early Release!
