CBD Face Mask

Let me begin by saying, and I may be wrong, but
I reckon this beautifully presented facemask was
designed by a man. Either that or my face has lost a lot
of its plumpness, and it’s defi nitely not that. Nope, it’s a
man-sized mask. (First it was tissues...)
As well as 10mg of CBD, this also contains hemp seed
oil, liquorice root and rosemary fl ower extract, plus it’s
free from parabens, sulphates and alcohol so it won’t
dry out your pores or sting.
I always fi nd it a bore having to drag the serum-soaked
folded over mask out of the packaging, only to have to
unfold it and place it perfectly around the eyes, nose
and mouth, without getting a
mouthful of the serum.
This time, someone along
the way cleverly suggested cutting
the application in two, making it so much
easier to apply!
I do take issue with the instructions as they
suggest applying twice or even three times per week. If
I treated my skin this many times in a week, aside from
cleansing, toning and moisturizing as is the norm, it
would wreak havoc on my face. Besides, like a lot of our
female readers I imagine, I am lucky if I have the time
to pull off a DIY facial once a week as it is.
All of that aside, I chose this mask as one of my editor’s
picks for this issue, purely based on results. Having left
both sections of the mask on for 20 minutes after a
deep exfoliation and steam cleanse, my skin was giving
off major glow vibes. I took the rest of the gel from the
pack and applied it to my neck and décolletage as a
bonus.

The next morning:
I always advise using a mask at night, whether it be
for the hair or face. It gives our skin a chance to heal
and breathe overnight for the ultimate beauty sleep.
The morning after using this man-sized mask my skin
looked amazing, even if I do say so myself. There was a
noticeable difference in my complexion. Maybe man
size is the way forward?
