The inaugural Hemp World Expo gave us a taste of
what’s to expect at the Mohegan Sun

Atlanta is a city rich in history, known
as the birthplace of the civil rights
movement in America, and home to
Nobel Peace Prize winner Martin Luther
King Jr. and famous rapper Kanye West
as a child. It is also the headquarters
of CNN and Coca-Cola and boasts the
largest aquarium in the US.
There are so many reasons to visit
Atlanta, and now we can add hemp
and CBD to the list.

Held at the Atlanta Expo Center
North, a space measuring 161,000
square feet, the show was fi lled with
exhibitor stands. As I made my way
to the registration desk to collect my
press pass, I was warmly greeted by
the organizer’s mother Ann and wife
Angela – both of whom instantly made
me feel welcome. Within minutes, I
noticed crowds of trade visitors and
consumers (some with their furry pets)
