E ditor’s Letter
W
elcome to spring
everyone. It’s about
time, am I right?
From a stream
of grim weather
to the fear of the unknown with
coronavirus, 2020 has not been too
kind to us so far.
At least it’s given us something else
to talk about instead of Brexit.
We’re staying positive in the
hopes that we’ll get a smashing
spring-summer as the calendar of
events recovers from a season of
postponements and cancellations.
I myself felt the impact of Covid-19
personally as it prevented me from
travelling to the place in which I’m
due to be married in a few short
months. But I’m not panicking
(yet). Thankfully, no one at The
CANNAVIST has succumbed to the
virus. Professionally, we were forced
to ground our team, enforcing a
travel ban for work trips for the
fi rst time. Then we had a eureka
moment. If people cannot travel
internationally to attend events, why
not bring events to the people.
Starting from July 1 and running for
365 days, you’ll be able to kick back
on the couch or man your exhibitor
stand or even host a live seminar
from the comfort of your offi ce or
home. For more about VOXPO, fl ick
to page 96.
We have a wonderful food-themed
issue in store for you. From sweets
to drinks to roast potatoes and
carrot cake, we’re embracing all
things CBD in food!
