Flan is described as a blend of vanilla
and caramel. A bright vanilla custard
is the main fl avour here, with slight
egg notes and a rich dairy body. This
is complemented by a light caramel,
which provides some dark sweetness. I
found the hemp derived CBD fl avour
to be almost completely masked in the
mix, which will be appealing for some
users. and though it works quite well
with the watermelon fl avour, this may
make it less suited to those who do not
enjoy the CBD fl avour.
Red Devil
Red Devil is described as a mix of nine
fruits, with a hint of vanilla. The most
prominent notes are papaya and berry
with a vanilla fi nish. This is quite unlike
any profi le I’ve vaped before and despite
the unusual fl avour, it has quickly
become a favourite. The other tropical
notes do get a little lost in the mix, but
I can forgive that, since the prominent
fl avours work so well together. The
CBD fl avour is again almost completely
masked.
Pure
The simplest offering from Blue Moon
Hemp. Pure is billed as a sativa blend and
they’ve done a good job of portraying
the mild, almost citric fl avour of the plant,
with a light herbal accent.
There is a more noticeable CBD fi nish
in this blend compared to the others,
though this is to be expected.
Black Kat
Black Kat is described as fruity cereal with
hints of marshmallow and cinnamon. A
berry medley and mild grains are the
most forward notes. A light marshmallow
becomes more evident on the fi nish,
which stops the grain note from drying
the profi le out too much. Personally, I
don’t get much cinnamon from the
profi le, though I’m not complaining,
since the blend of fruit, grain and creamy
fi nish works wonderfully. A very light CBD
fl avour is apparent on the fi nish but it’s
not intrusive.
