Orange Tropical Passion by PureKana By Gordon Stribling PureKana is one of those companies that seems to be everywhere, especially in the US. This is a brand which is very well regarded throughout the CBD community, with Cody Alt as the main infl uence behind it. The range features many of the well established CBD products you’ll be familiar with, along with some niche varieties such as toothpicks which are popular on the golf circuit. This soft drink has the look and feel of an expensive sports drink. It also has many of the additives you would expect to fi nd, including 179mg of caffeine and 78 electrolytes, along with 30mg of broad spectrum CBD. It walks the walk too, tasting a lot like a certain sports drink beginning with ‘L’. It is almost indistinguishable from the orange isotonic drink favoured by professional and amateur athletes alike. But the real win for me is the low sugar content. Less than a gram per bottle, compared to 18 grams in the previously mentioned sports drink. As an added bonus, it is vegan, gluten-free and non-GMO. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this taking off in UK gyms soon. Lady Fortunes CBD Oreo By Gordon Stribling Oreos are surely one of America’s greatest exports and you could say the same about CBD edibles. This offering f rom Lady Fortunes combines the two. We have very little information to go on here, so I can’t tell you how much CBD each cookie contains. But I can say that these are delicious! Along with the crunchy biscuit and creamy centre of an Oreo, there’s a layer of sweet, velvety icing speckled with hundreds-and-thousands to give the cookie an added bite. I could demolish handfuls of these given the opportunity so it’s probably for the best that I was only given one.
