Good Vibes Cuticle Oil
By Lisa Blake
I’m a fan of a shellac manicure every now and
then and dare I say it, lately I’ve become a bit
of a shell-addict. My nails are in deep need
of strengthening and care as I’m constantly
decorating them. It’s the little things when
you’re tapping away at your desk all day!
Anyway, I must admit a cuticle oil is not
currently part of my daily or even weekly beauty
routine and I think it would take a lot to get
me to incorporate it – despite what my nail
technician advises. First off, Revolution has done
a beautiful job of its branding! Such gorgeous
packaging, f irst tick. As recommended on the
box, using it nightly meant going around with
f reshly tended to f ingers wasn’t getting in the
way of daily tasks. There is the slightest hint
of hemp aroma but nothing noticeable after
application. It’s a very quick and easy product
to use and I’m glad to now be able to give my
nails a bit of TLC without going for a full-blown
manicure. Whether I’ll remember to apply it
nightly remains to be seen but it’s a thumbs up
f rom me either way.
The Remedy Co. Soothing CBD
Butter
By Lisa Blake
The f irst and most noticeable aspect of this
product application for me was the colour!
There was a distinct green tinge to my skin
after the f irst use. Realising I needed to rub it in
a bit more vigorously, I quickly became aware
of how soothing it felt. The colour eventually
faded in and what became apparent next was
that the ingredients form a perfect smelling
cream that genuinely brought me back to a
spa experience I had years ago. To instantly
associate a body butter with such a relaxing
time is a suref ire winner for me! I will admit, the
look of the product isn’t the most appealing at
f irst, but it is 100% worth seeing past that for
the results. My skin feels buttery soft. For extra
bonus points, I’ve been using it on my legs
where every six weeks I’m undergoing laser hair
removal - this is an ideal remedy given the high
potency of aloe leaf juice; a laser technician’s
most recommended healing solution! A def inite
winner in my books.
