Ohana means family. That’s the premise on which Ohana CBD is built. Jasmin’s own family, she says, is made up of 40 strong women, many of whom showed their girl support as she hosted her fi rst ever wellness festival. Ohana Wellness Festivals 2020 We went along to this event on International Women’s Day at the fi ve-star ee Curtain Member’s Club in Hoxton. The festival offered something for women of all ages, with breath work and yoga classes and skincare and stress management advice. But the main offerings on tap were positivity and smiles all around. Pollen, the makers of the very trendy gummies and Pollenade sodas set up shop in a complimentary CBD- infused mani-pedi station in aid of a very worthy cause, Beauty Banks. The charity operates like foodbanks but with personal care products and toiletries instead of food. With the public on high alert amid coronavirus, Ohana Wellness Festival debuted with an attendance of 175 women and 12 men, and that is something to be celebrated in a time where public gatherings aren’t exactly top of the agenda for most folks. The CANNAVIST was a proud media partner to this stellar event, but so many brands supported this IWD festival of good vibes and we feel like they deserve a mention. So thank you Nuduea, High on love, Pollen & Grace, Fresh fi tness food, Pact Coffee, Three Spirits, Dragon Fly CBD, Hanx, Coconut Collaborative, OHNE and Harmony CBD for supporting us gals. Jasmin says there is a second wellness festival planned for later in the year with another event in the pipeline for European Cannabis Week, June 21-26. A note from Jasmin & Jessica: “We are thrilled with the success of the event and it showed us the power of community. Great conversations were had and lots was learned. The feedback from the panels, yoga classes and breath work have all been amazing and it’s been such an honour to watch so many women come together to celebrate IWD. We are already excited for our next event! Women are really at the heart of everything we do.”
