Good Vibes Lip Balm by Make
Up Revolution
By Caroline Barry
The cold weather plays havoc on the lips
causing them to chap, split and develop sore
cuts in the corners which makes wearing bright
lipsticks impossible. Lip balm becomes not
just a handbag essential this time of year, but
something I keep in my jacket pocket for extra
quick access. The sleek (and colourful) design of
this Good Vibes lip balm made me want to use it
all of the time. Don’t be put off by the deep wine,
almost purple shade when you fi rst look at this.
It’s surprisingly transparent on the lips providing
a coat of cannabis sativa seed oil to help
condition and add moisture. It also made a great
primer for bright matte lipsticks. And for £4.95 on
Beauty Bay, your lips will thank you.
Blow Out! High volume
mascara
By Lisa Blake
Items in my makeup bag get replaced on a
rolling basis; without much thought for an
alternative or a switch up of products - my
face knows what it likes and I’m not here to
argue with it. However, mascara is the one
thing I feel conf ident enough to change up
every once in awhile as to me, you can’t go too
far wrong with avoiding clumps, high volume
and good lash separation. This my f riend, does
all of the above. I would genuinely compare
it to cult classic f rom Benef it “They’re Real!”
With the added bonus of the fact they’re
loaded with cannabis sativia, known for
stimulating mental effects that help you feel
focused and motivated. Eyes on the prize! One
that’s def initely earned a permanent place in
my makeup bag.
