AUSTRALIA’ S youthful Jeff Horn lobbed his hat in Manny Pacquaio’ s ring corner this month for a serious challenge to the aging Filipino’ s world welterweight boxing crown.
Daily Telegraph sportswriter Grantlee Kieza first reported the possibility of staging the championship bout in Brisbane, at Suncorp Stadium in April 23.
The Australians have not officially issued a challenge, which would include naming the purse, possibly taunting Pacquiao as he goes about his day job as a politician, a popularly elected Senator from Saranggani in Mindanao.

Reporter a presstime about his conversation with Pacquaio’ s promoter in the US:“ I spoke to Bob Arum this morning( Saturday, January 7). He says Manny is all set for the fight so long as the purse is met.”
Pacquiao reportedly said he was expecting a“ tremendous fight’’ with Horn at Suncorp Stadium on April 23 but has one important message before flying to Brisbane:“ Show me the money.’’
