SWIFT LAUNCHES ITS MOST STYLISH MODEL YET

FROM a hot-hatch burning with rally heritage to one of the most stylish car Suzuki has ever launched comes the 2017 Suzuki Swift. I still remember back in 2004, the year when this subcompact jumped from a low-priced alternative to a sporty hatch. Its design wowed the car industry back then; now it’ s back with all-new set-up from chassis to engine. It comes with a CVT 66kW 1.2 litre naturally aspirated four-banger or the beast 6-speed Automatic 82kW 1.0 Boosterjet turbocharged three-cylinder engine mounted on Suzuki’ s new Heartect chassis, keeping overall weight low for better handling. Six airbags and electronic stability control with ABS, EBD and BA for the braking system gives the Swift a much deserved 5-star rating for the GL Navigator class onwards. Daytime running lights and privacy glass adds the much-needed class on this segment.

It has a 7-inch, multi-touch display unit for your entertainment needs, hands-free phone and satellite navigation system for those long interstate trips. Some may say that these features are common for highspec subcompacts nowadays, especially on the $ 16,990 range. Packaged in a Swift, the car makes it all exciting again. One imagines going to watch your favourite movie again, climbing your best mountain or plainly drinking a cuppa on your small-town café. Only this time with the partner of your dreams. •
