Health goes digital
The Council of Australian Government (COAG)’s
health council just approved the national digital
health strategy for 2018-2022.
This decision was made to provide a centralised
digital e-health system where the users will have
immediate access to their health records that will
improve wellbeing and prevent illness.
This will result in less hospital admissions, avoid
duplicate tests and much better coordination for
the user and healthcare provider. n
