GOLF BUSINESS
Following the purchase of Swindon Link
Magazine by The Business Exchange
director James Phipps, The Link has
undergone an exciting rebranding exercise.
Juicy Designs and Studio Creative
Services, based in Old Station House,
Old Town, Swindon have worked
closely with the new Link team to
create a brand that pays homage to
the logo that has served the magazine
well, but injects a fresh, modern feel.
The idea was to create a design
evolution, not a revolution. The letters
touch together to emphasise linking
and the colours reflect the culturally
diverse area. It was decided to drop
‘Swindon’ from the title as it is so well
known in the town and embedded
into the local community.
The previous strap-line was ‘The
positive news force for Swindon’. This
has now been replaced with ‘Bringing
Swindon together’ reflecting The
Link’s aim to be at the heart of all
community matters in the town and
the place to go to find out what’s
going on.

The Link has rapid expansion plans
with the launch of its new Link Sport
website, set to be the home for all
local sports news in the town. Juicy
Designs and Studio Creative Services
have created the new identity for
this part of the business too. Several
design ideas were considered, before
it was decided on a red and white
theme reflecting the colours of all the
major teams in the town, Swindon
Town FC, Swindon Wildcats and
Swindon Robins.

One of Jazzbones’ latest online projects is now live for
HM Adventure Golf.
HM Adventure Golf headquartered in Swindon are the UK’s
leading designers of bespoke adventure golf courses, and are
also a relatively small team that needed a cost-effective solution
to their online requirements.
HM have constructed mini golf facilities from Las Vegas to
Belgium to Yorkshire and wanted a website that was userfriendly, unfussy and focusing on the company’s core skills;
planning, design and construction of innovative adventure
golf courses.
Jazzbones worked with HM Adventure Golf to create a
flexible online tool which will support their business as it grows.
The website design and development features included a fully
mobile adaptive website, content management system, easyto-update news and blogging tools, social media integration
and bespoke produced portfolio video.
