New heart of Swindon unveiled at Kimmerfields
Second Phase launch
The second phase of the development which is
revitalising the centre of Swindon was unveiled at a
launch on Friday 26 September. The marketing campaign
for Muse Development’s second phase of Kimmerfields,
an exceptional urban regeneration scheme which is
designed to grow the town centre’s central business
district and will include up to 650,000 sq ft of Grade A
commercial offices, residential and retail space.
Located just three minutes’ walk from
Swindon’s mainline train station, close to
the retail and cultural districts, the buildings
will typically be between four and eight
storeys, with stunning architecture and
offices that offer maximum flexibility
for occupiers to organise their own
internal space.
A proposed network of pedestrianfriendly streets, landscaped open spaces
and squares is designed specifically to
add vitality to Swindon’s town centre. A
range of ground-floor restaurants and

cafes will enhance the buildings and open
spaces, and encourage pedestrians to move
through the development and onwards to
the main shopping district.
