Charity activity
Halsall Construction, a Bath based firm with a presence
across the South West is experiencing a high period of
growth. Over the last year Halsall has seen over 60%
increase in turnover, and as a result they have been
able to recruit new team members as well as promote
staff internally.
New garden for Seymour Community
Hub in Trowbridge

The Halsall Team for the Seymour garden project
Alan Blanford and Clive Fletcher have joined the team
as contracts managers. Alan joins the business
from a residential developer and has over 20 years’ experience working in the sector. Clive joins the
company with over 25 years’ experience in general contracting businesses.
In the commercial team Ian Cooksey and Nick Leigh join the commercial team as Quantity Surveyors.
Leigh Hill also joined as a freelance Quantity Surveyor. Halsall have also appointed a new Office Manager
Cally Lane, a role that was created due to the positive growth within the business.
Recent project completions:
Melksham Cluster
Dorothy House
Another recently completed development is the
Melksham Cluster for Selwood Housing. The
project included the design and build of 16 new
homes across seven garage sites in Melksham. The
mix of two and three bedroomed semi-detached
bungalows and houses were all built to level 3 of
the Code for Sustainable Homes. However, some
of the new homes were constructed traditionally
as limited access meant that timber frames
could not be delivered to site. These properties
had solar thermal water heating installed to
improve energy efficiency and achieve level 3.
A team from Halsall swapped the office for
the garden in an effort to provide safe events
space for the local community. The area
consisted of broken concrete and uneven
surfaces before the transformation took place.
