Community at the heart of SWBF plans in 2025
We’ re excited to share some of the initiatives and events we have planned to support and engage with our thriving local business community this year.
Bath Dragons One of the highlights this year is Bath Dragons, an innovative business competition we are running in partnership with Richardson Swift, Mogers Drewett, and The Business Exchange. This exciting initiative open to businesses in the growth stage offers a prize worth £ 20,000 in business support to help innovative ideas take flight.
Annual Economic Briefing and Networking
Later in the year, we will host our Annual Economic Briefing and Networking Event, featuring renowned economist Mark Berrisford-Smith. This event promises to provide valuable insights into the economic landscape – stay tuned for more details.
LAF Lunches We’ re also strengthening our connections through our new‘ LAF’ Lunches( Legal, Accounting, and Finance), hosted alongside partners Milsted Langdon and Mogers Drewett. These lunches provide a fantastic opportunity for the local business community to network and share insights in an informal setting.
Charity of the Year Giving back to our community remains a priority for SWBF in 2025. We are delighted to announce that our charity partner for 2025 is Bath City Farm. This incredible 27-acre working farm in Whiteway, Bath is more than just a farm, it’ s a lifeline for children, young people, and adults, supporting mental wellbeing, additional leaning needs and those facing long-term unemployment.
SWBF Annual Golf Day Our annual Golf Day returns this June at Cumberwell Park Golf Club in Bradford on Avon. This ever-popular event is a perfect blend of sport, networking, and camaraderie, and we look forward to welcoming familiar and new faces alike.
