FAREWELL , 2023 !
Systemagic share their highlights of the year and what the team are looking forward to in 2024 .
It ’ s undeniable that 2023 has been a challenging year for businesses and it ’ s all too easy to focus on the ‘ doom and gloom ’. So , with the year drawing to a close and winter settling in , we wanted to share some of our highlights from the past 12 months and things we are grateful for .
Record-Breaking Customer Service As a business we always have been , and always will be , committed to delivering the best possible service to our customers .
Last year we were over the moon to have won the Customer Service Excellence Award at the Inspire Business Awards and be announced as a finalist for the Customer Champion Award at the Scale-Up Awards in London .
We ’ re proud to reveal that during 2023 our helpdesk achieved a customer satisfaction score of at least 99 % every month – hitting the 100 % mark twice !
As we venture into 2024 , our team remains fully committed to delivering an excellent service to our customers .
Growing the team On the topic of our team , we were delighted to welcome four new recruits this year – all of which were for brandnew positions ; Imogen ( Helpdesk Coordinator ), Joe ( Sales Administrator ), Ronan ( IT Apprentice ) and Jody ( Finance Manager ).
These friendly new faces settled in very quickly and have made a huge impact in such a short space of time . We ’ re excited to see them continue to thrive and develop in their roles .
Great Place to Work ® certified This year we achieved a significant milestone by becoming a certified Great Place to Work ®. With a growing team , we ’ re dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture .
As part of the certification process , our employees completed an anonymised Trust Index employee survey , which asked questions about our management , employee rewards , recognition and training opportunities .
In addition to the employee survey , GPTW reviewed the working culture at Systemagic and found it to be a fun , engaging , psychologically and mentally healthy place to work .
Doing our bit for the environment In 2016 , we achieved carbon neutrality through our carbon reduction strategy .
Since then , we have been doing everything we can to minimise our impact on the environment and promote sustainable practices , including local litter picking , funding an Ecologi Forest and investing in carbon offset projects .
This year we signed the SME Climate Commitment as part of the United Nations ’ ‘ Race to Zero ’ campaign and are working with an independent consultant to further improve our green credentials .
A milestone anniversary approaches As we close the chapter on another year , we look forward to the year ahead – especially as we ’ re turning 25 years old ! We can ’ t wait to celebrate this landmark milestone with our clients , partners and employees and reflect on our journey , growth and evolution over the past two and a half decades . Until then , we ’ re looking forward to the upcoming holiday season , where our team can enjoy a well-deserved and restful break .
