Tim Hotchkiss , Equity Partner at Awdry Law , said , “ This wasn ’ t a decision that was taken lightly . Awdry Bailey & Douglas is a household name for many people throughout Wiltshire and beyond and is revered for the dynamic , inspiring and proactive service that is provided across the board .
“ Our current branding has served us exceptionally well , but twenty years on we felt it was time to revisit the brand and ask ourselves a series of questions that really get under the skin of who we are today and how we are likely to evolve over the coming years .
“ If you look at the history of the firm ,
which started trading in 1750 , the business has changed names many times , often to reflect the names of the owners , but the focus has always remained the same in that the provision of excellent client service is at the heart of everything that we do . The legal industry is constantly changing , especially so in the last few years and we are embracing that change .”
A key component of the rebrand that is intrinsically linked to the firm ’ s vision , is its ‘ We speak your language approach ’. Awdry Law pride themselves on speaking to clients in a clear , straight-forward way , without excessive use of legal jargon .
“ Our “ we speak your language ” approach
is far more than just words to us here at Awdry Law , said Tim . “ It is an embodiment of our ethos and vision , and flows through everything we do . This is clearly demonstrated by the fact that the phrase itself came from one of our people in our internal branding workshops .”
The new brand was created by Swindonbased design agency Jazzbones following extensive consultations , workshops and discussions with the firm ’ s employees and clients .
Tim added , “ Our new brand retains and preserves our heritage , but in a contemporary way ; and as it ’ s built on our commitment to delivering excellence
in everything we do , it provides us with a strong foundation as we continue to grow and innovate in the years to come .
“ Although we have a new name and a new look , our exceptional client service , delivered by friendly , knowledgeable and welcoming people , who really do speak your language , hasn ’ t changed and we look forward to seeing you in our newly updated offices to hear what you think of our new look !”
Awdry Law is one of Wiltshire ’ s leading law firms employing over 100 people across its offices in Chippenham , Devizes , Marlborough , Royal Wootton Bassett and Swindon .
