Gooding Accounts expands into Melksham
Wiltshire accountancy practice Gooding Accounts has opened a new office in Melksham .
Founded in 2014 by experienced Accountancy Director Sam Gooding , Gooding Accounts has grown from strength-tostrength in recent years . The expansion into Melksham marks the third office for the practice , alongside branches in Westbury and Warminster .
Providing a pathway for its clients ’ journeys , Gooding Accounts works with committed business owners to explore , collaborate and prosper . These fundamental elements , combined with a passion to help people , have been at the heart of the company ’ s growth for the past nine years .
The 36-strong business now serves over 2,500 clients locally , nationally and internationally , and has helped over 350 start-ups through its specialist support service .
Within the local community the practice also supports a number of charitable organisations including Wiltshire Air Ambulance , Dorothy House Hospice Care and Wiltshire Mind , and is also a sponsor of Melksham Town FC .

RENEWED OPTIMISM AS NEW BUSINESSES FLOCK TO THE TOWN
Despite the economic outlook and the challenges facing the high street , there is cause to be optimistic about Trowbridge .
The Chamber of Commerce has announced a series of business openings which will bring a much-needed boost to the county town .
It is also hoped that they will act as a catalyst to inspire other businesses to set up shop in the near future .
The businesses which have opened , or are due to open soon , include :
• Eden Beauty and Aesthetics at St George ' s Works off Silver Street
• Beytish Kitchen Turkish takeaway at Castle Place , Market Street
• V Nails in Fore Street
• H . B . Pitt Garden Shop in the former Pitts shop in Silver Street
• A new sports therapy and podiatry business at 1 Manvers Street at the top of Wicker Hill
• Knees brand new home and electrical showroom on the White Horse Business Centre
• A new street food outlet at the entrance to Castle Place
Meanwhile , Trowbridge Town Council has opted to take on the responsibility of several services from Wiltshire Council following years of what it refers to as poor standards . The changes include responsibility for :
• street furniture , benches , bus shelters and bins
• cleanliness of streets and areas including the multi-storey car park
• green spaces , including amenity land
