Our offices in Swindon and Cirencester are expecting to continue to grow by at least 20 per cent in 2023 on top of similar levels in the last couple of years .
Due to this continued growth , we have employment opportunities at all levels within the business . These vacancies will suit ambitious , motivated people to join us as audit and accounts managers through qualified seniors , part qualified and trainees .
This year , we again sponsored Wrag Barn ’ s annual golf day supporting the charity Hft , raising a total of £ 10,741 . There were 23 teams present on the day , playing 18 holes , beat the pro and many having a go at the chipping contest , with prizes going to the winners .
The funds raised have been used to support the health and wellbeing of the Hft staff in the South West region , making their place of work and their own staff facilities

more comfortable . Hft is a national charity , founded in 1962 to support adults with learning disabilities . The charity pioneered the idea that adults with learning disabilities have the right to choices about how they live to enable them to lead the best life possible including supported independent living .
In July , we met with other Haines Watts offices throughout the South West region at Team Bath ’ s Sports Training Village . The day involved attendees being divided into teams for a non-traditional sports day .
The athletics track played host to long jump , shotput , speed tests and a few rather unusual but fun activities . The weather was perfect , and it was a great day to be with everyone out of the office together , away from screens .
This was followed by a netball tournament , kindly hosted by the Team Bath Netball coach and players . Throughout

the day , the teams were also tasked with an extensive quiz and creating a team flag . There were prizes for winners , and a lovely BBQ to end the day . It was a fantastic opportunity to spend time with the other Haines Watts ’ teams . Everyone enjoyed the day and lots of new friends were made .
Most recently we have seen a refresh of our brand , including a new website and some changes to our brand including our logo . This was an obvious time for us to make over our offices , creating an attractive environment for our staff to work in and for our visitors to visit . We hope you like the changes .

One of the key successes for us this year is that we ’ ve grown by acquisition and we intend to complete another acquisition shortly too . For me and for my team , this is the way forward .

In June we acquired the majority of another agency , ActivelyOutdoors Ltd – a company run by managing director James Hamilton .

This also means , we are now working with some fantastic brands in the outdoor space and we have tailored this particular expertise to offer further services to our

clients , allowing them to achieve greater reach , greater impact and , over time , more sales .
It will come as no surprise that in making this investment , we ’ ve added almost 50 per cent to our group revenue as we have seen new clients onboarding every single month since June and we expect that to continue into next year . I look forward to sharing more positive news in due course .
