Founded by David Wreathall in 2008 , Inner Flame inspires and empowers young people . It offers free courses to develop confidence , self-worth , life-skills , and employability for young people ( aged 16-25 ) in Swindon and North / West Wiltshire .

The Young Champions evening celebrates participants on these , including The Prince ' s Trust Team Programme .

David Wreathall , Founder of Inner Flame , said , “ This year is extra special as we ’ re celebrating ten years of working with The Prince ’ s Trust . On the night we will be hearing stories from those who ’ ve completed the programme over the years and how our work has transformed lives .”

Proceeds from the Young Champions evening will help to fund the continuation of Inner Flame ’ s anxiety programme , ‘ Manage Anxiety : Your Way ’. An area of its work which has seen a real increase in demand since the start of the pandemic . Elizabeth Postgate , General Manager at Inner Flame , said , “ Anxiety is one of the most common mental health issues for young people , and a problem that we see frequently in the young people that we work with . This programme helps young people take control of their own mental health , offering a toolkit of methods that work .”

For the chance to quadruple its fundraising efforts , Inner Flame is taking part in the 2022 Big Give Christmas Challenge . The first challenge is to achieve £ 5k in pledges by 1st September ( paid in December ) to turn these into up to £ 20,000 .

Tickets for the Young Champions evening

are priced from £ 55 per head and include a three-course meal , live entertainment , a raffle and auction . It ’ s perfect timing to pick up unique Christmas presents and get organised ahead of the festive period .
