When I planned the special feature for this issue last year - Environmental , Social , and Corporate Governance ( ESG ), l didn ’ t know just how relevant the topic would be when the time came to put this magazine together . The outbreak of war in Ukraine has made the world seem smaller , life more unpredictable and the importance of community and a shared goal to do good and behave ethically in life and business even more prevalent . Turn to page 20 to find out why ESG still matters and is more important than ever , especially for attracting and retaining employees .

At The Business Exchange we are also committed to the environment and sustainability . I ' m proud that our magazines are printed on FSC paper and are fully recyclable . This is unusual in the print industry as many national and international publishers are still using lamination processes which prevent stock from being recycled . I believe it ' s my responsibility as a publisher to do my bit to protect the planet for future generations and will be consciously looking for further ways to improve .
