The Restart Grant scheme supports businesses in the non-essential retail , hospitality , leisure , personal care and accommodation sectors . It offers a one-off grant to help businesses reopen safely as Covid-19 restrictions are lifted . Through this scheme , eligible businesses in the non-essential retail sector may be entitled to a one-off cash grant of up to £ 6,000 from their local council .
Applications remain open until Wednesday 30th June 2021 . Businesses based in Swindon need to apply via Swindon Borough Council and Wiltshire-based businesses need to apply via Wiltshire Council .

Small and medium sized enterprises across Swindon and Wiltshire can now access grants of up to £ 40,000 thanks to a new programme funded by the European Regional Development Fund ( ERDF ).
Delivered by the University of the West of England ( UWE Bristol ), Innovation 4 Growth is open to research and development projects from all sectors which will help to create new products , new services and new jobs in the region .
The programme is offering grants of £ 10,000 – £ 40,000 to fund 35 per cent of total project costs .
In addition to the grant funding , Innovation 4 Growth offers high quality support and training to help make ambitions for innovation a

reality .
