She set up her business nearly three years ago with her husband Ben and is on a mission to deliver modern and effective HR and recruitment solutions to businesses . We met Elle to find out more about her and Form Talent .
How has your business developed over the last year ? We spent time listening to our clients and adapted . They wanted us to be their point of contact for everything people related . An outsourced Head of HR , Head of Culture and Head of Talent through one point of contact . Our offering evolved and we welcomed our HR Consultant , Milly . In terms of our recruitment offering , 2020 just expedited our planned development . We rolled out our Recruitment as a Service offering ( Head of Talent ) and started to work on filling the gap for businesses between DIY recruitment and paying a search fee .
How has lockdown changed the way you do business ? We ’ ve always worked remotely but always met with clients too , so we ’ re missing

that . Recruitment has changed so much in the last 12 months and because of the technology we invested in early on , way before Covid , it means we now work with clients nationwide . Regarding the consulting side , Ben and our people performance team have been delivering remote sessions to companies with people based across the world .
How has Covid changed the recruitment landscape ? If a business isn ’ t factoring in remote / flexi working into its future talent strategy and workforce planning then finding top talent may be tricky . Tech / AI is being used to enhance and automate the attraction and hiring process , as well as psychometrics and people analytics – something we invested in before Covid and are continuing to invest in . There is a lot of focus on candidate experience which will continue to be poignant throughout 2021 .
Has Covid changed employee and employer expectations ? Employees expect more from employers .

I get asked daily , what employers have done for their people in the last 12 months , it has a huge impact on decision making for candidates . Employers , I feel , have become a lot more understanding and in the main , I ’ ve witnessed incredible support towards their people .
What are the main challenges your clients are facing at the moment ? Looking after employee wellbeing , keeping them engaged and motivated .
People are finding lockdown 3 particularly challenging . How are you inspiring leaders and keeping their teams motivated ? Virtual working means that it ’ s harder to build connections between employees . We ’ ve facilitated sessions with different clients around deepening these social connections . Structure , a psychologically safe environment and the right questions can start to plug the gap in what has been lost through virtual working . We ’ ve helped businesses understand what they value from the old ways of working and what they want to bring forward and then supported them in adapting .

What are you most looking forward to this year ? Developing the Bath HR Network and celebrating Form Talent ’ s third birthday ! I ’ m running a couple of ultra-marathons this year with one being a 250km multi-day race in the desert of Jordan so looking forward to that .
