EDITOR’ S NOTE
Let me begin with a HUGE thank you to all of our advertisers who’ ve continued to support The Business Exchange through these very challenging times. We’ re incredibly proud to still be here, still printing and still online, when many publishers have shut their doors. We were determined to up our game throughout the crisis keeping our readers updated with the latest news and information. Since 23rd March we’ ve seen an increase in web traffic of up to 170 per cent which shows our efforts haven’ t gone unnoticed. We also offered free copies of our magazines delivered to people’ s homes. We had hundreds of requests and

loved seeing the social media posts of our readers enjoying their copies at home.
The last few months have been a test for us all and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of this wonderfully caring and kind business community. We’ ve all rallied for one another, looking out for signs that someone might be having a bit of a wobble, then picking up the phone and checking in. We’ ve taken it in turns to scoop each other up on a low day and that’ s amazing. I’ ve seen nothing like it before and it makes me feel so very comforted to know that so many of you have got my back, as I’ ve got yours.
This edition is all about business and community coming together, from our cover story thanking our local hospital and its staff( turn to page 4), to pages 6-7
