In 2016, Beckie Towle decided to embark on an adventure, she packed a
bag and went travelling halfway around the world for three months. Little
did Beckie know the extent of the journey she was about to embark on!
What started as a few months of travelling,
soon became the birth of a business.
Swindon-based event management
company, The Events Raccoon was born
and very quickly the business has gone from
strength to strength. In three years, the team
have co-ordinated 7,133 delegates, delivered
60 events across the globe, including
Vancouver, Toronto, Paris, Madrid, Lisbon
and Dusseldorf – just to name a few.
Beckie set up The Events Raccoon with
15 years of strategic events experience from
the corporate world, and as the business
has grown, she has chosen her team wisely,
ensuring the experience within the team
is extensive, unique and diverse. Working
alongside Beckie is Emma Sharp ‘The Make
it Happen’ Happener and Kate Stevenson,
Event Ninja. Between the three of them
they have over 42 years of experience
in the industry. Emma brings a wealth
of knowledge from the high-end luxury
event market, and Kate brings her agency
experience. Kate’s father was CEO to one of
the largest global lubricant companies, and
she has a ‘can do, will do’ attitude.
Beckie launched The Events Raccoon
because she believed she had something
different and unique to bring to the table,
this is why as a team the raccoons live
and breathe every one of their core values,
which are - loyal, trusted, fun and unique.
“It really is in our DNA!”, said Beckie, Chief
Amazement Officer.

we have moved to Spittleborough Farmhouse
in Swindon. It’s the perfect base to grow

wait to get many a party started in 2020.”
